I find it very time-consuming to take notes with a pen in class, so I often type things on my computer, which is actually a part of the way I study, and it gives me more options to organize my documents and review my notes.

Not so with handwriting, were less likely to get distracted and far more likely to focus on the writing itself.

Its far easier to revise passages, splice two documents together, or rearrange entire chapters. Not so much with a handwritten piece.
