Task6常見問題

1、雖然已經掌握了Lecture中所透露的基本信息，但是還是會遺漏一些重要信息分支或者是關鍵詞匯。

2、對一些比較生僻的地理專有名詞把握得不是很好，然后一概用一些泛指的詞匯來代替。

3、用詞方面存在的問題：首先，在陳述中重復使用一些詞匯，嚴重影響口語表達的豐富性和多樣性;然后，對一些行近詞并沒有精確把握。行近詞很容易給人造成混淆，但是它們的真正意思卻很不相同，所以如果沒有很準確地把握而混用了行近詞，可以想象的到出來的表達效果會讓人啼笑皆非!

Using points and examples from the talk, describe traditional beliefs about trees, and explain why people have thought of trees as special.

①中表述了其中的基本信息，但是太過于籠統，遺漏了一些細節。

Better expression: The Norse people and Algonquin people both honored the ash tree as cosmic tree. According to their traditions, the first human beings come from the ash tree.

②對聽力材料中所給出信息的理解有所偏差。

Better expression: The Europeans in North America also hold beliefs about trees. They think that people can avoid getting a disease of the bones by carrying the seeds of buckeye tree in their pockets.

③Better expression: They also hold the opinion that the branch of the hazel trees can help water dowsers to find water underground.

說明：本段陳述中多次重復使用believe，這對體現語言的多樣性表達不是很好!而且遺漏了water dowser探井人這個關鍵信息詞，此外我們知道尋找水源都是在地下進行，故不能使用on the ground而應該是underground。本段的人稱使用的是they，因為它和②中的主語是一致的，都是The Europeans in North America對trees的different beliefs.

說明：類似這樣的基本語法錯誤實在是不應該犯的!
