SAT寫作細節描述的技巧

第一，使用具體名字。模糊的寫法可能是：He sold his camper. 而具體詞匯的使用則是：Luke sold his Winnebago.

第二，使用逼真活潑的動詞。模糊的寫法：The flag moved in the breeze. 具體化變成：The flag fluttered in the breeze.

第三，名詞前使用修飾詞匯。模糊寫法：A man strained to lift the crate. 具體化變成：A heavyset, perspiring man strained to lift the heavy wooden crate.

注意這里heavyset, perspiring, heavy wooden這些字的使用。

第四，使用與感官有關的詞匯——視覺，聽覺，視覺，味覺，觸覺等。

模糊寫法：That woman jogs five miles a day 視覺具體化：That fragile-looking, gray-haired woman jogs five miles a day.

模糊寫法： A noise told the crowd that there were two minutes left to play. 聽覺具體化： A piercing whistle told the cheering crowd that there were two minutes left to play.
