以英國大學為例，人力資源管理專業大致可分為兩個方向：人力資源管理（ Human Resource Management）和國際人力資源管理（International Human Resource Management）。

相較而言，人力資源管理專業的實際操作性較強，課程能夠讓同學接觸到人力資源的方方方方面面問題；而國際人力管理專業則注重宏觀戰略和全球人力密源問題。

就業方向：企業人力資源管理者，HR，招聘，BP等無論企業大小，根本在于人員管理，可見對于該職務的依賴之強；獵聘行業，人才資源成為目前商業社會中最被重視的資源之一，獵聘行業隨之發展迅猛。

哪些大學的人力資源管理專業值得推薦呢？

倫敦政治經濟學院（LSE）

LSE有2個人力方向，一個主要針對歐洲和英國學生設計，中國學生極少，建議學過社會學的學生轉專業申請。這個專業收50人左右，畢業同時會有CIPD會員資格。另一個專業是國際勞動關系和HRM，選修課程多，覆蓋勞動經濟學等諸多領域，更建議國際學生申請，招收的人數多。

曼徹斯特大學

曼徹斯特人力好多多，MBS＋環發，會挑花眼的。當然，我們主要說MBS的。國際學生選Intetnational route那個多點，課程相對輕松，如果有留英打算，想必修CIPD課程的，這個可以選domestic route，這個會附加作業和3000字的report，比較煩。第二學期會比較痛苦，量很大時間緊，建議有工作背景申請。

Warwick的hrm不算王牌專業但大牌，因為這個課程對專業背景沒有硬性規定。所以申的人多，有CIPD認證，加上華威商學院有錢，資源豐富，專業比較豪，會請些個資深的高級的從業人員來授課，探討當下熱門話題。

Human Resource Management and Employment Relations - MSc

申請要求：雅思7.0，兩單科7.0，兩單科6.0/6.5；英國2:1學位。

愛丁堡大學

愛丁堡的的HRM在商學院里，任何專業都能申，2012年開了CIPD認證，這個專業適合以后做培訓以及處理員工關系。申請難度比不上曼大和蘭卡這些學校，甚至和杜倫比，也會推薦杜倫多一點。
