 prefer receiving messages,since it gives me a sense of security.I mean,I do not have to worry about whether the person I want to talk to is able to receive and fully understand my message or not,and the only thing I need to do is to read his or her message and get the point.

Well,abbreviations are really popular among young people when sending text messages.Like LMK,actually it means“let me know”.But when I first saw it,I really had no idea what it meant and I did not know how to reply.

4)When is making phone calls more suitable than texting?

I think making phone calls is only more suitable when you want to share something special or important.This is mainly because when you make a call,you can get immediate responses from the other side.Besides,when you type a message,you can’t render the nuances that come with vocal inflections.
