The outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia has made online courses become increasingly popular nationwide. Undoubtedly, there are both advantages and disadvantages of online courses.

Generally speaking, it is widely believed there are two major advantages as follows. Firstly, online courses have provided us with easy access to the necessary information and materials. We can learn them according to our own schedule. And secondly, the convenience we get from online learning saves us a lot of time, energy and money. However, the negative aspects of online courses are also quite apparent. To begin with, taking lessons online for a long time will affect our health, especially our eyesight. In addition, online courses lack supervision and teacher-student interactions, which makes us lazy and inefficient.

To bring the advantages of the online courses into full play, for my part, I think it necessary for teachers to make a detailed teaching plan and different kinds of tasks for us, which can help us make good use of time. Moreover, our teachers should increase more interactions with us to attract our attention.
